WHO I AM
Welcome, I am Shelly
There are moments when something feels off…
but you cannot quite explain why.
You think about it over and over, trying to make sense of it, and still do not know what to do next.
When something does not make sense, your system becomes activated. Your mind tries to figure it out. Your body moves to protect. And your ability to think clearly begins to drop.
What feels like overwhelm is often a loss of clarity.
The Life That Has Shaped This Work
I am a Certified Life Coach, but more importantly, I am someone who has lived a full and deeply human life.
I have experienced seasons of success, uncertainty, loss, growth, and profound change across family, business, caregiving, and personal transformation.
I have sat beside those I love through illness and at the end of life, including my husband.
These experiences shaped how I understand life, what truly matters, and the work I do today.
Why I Became a Life Coach
There was a time in my life when, from the outside, everything appeared successful. I came from very little, built what many would consider a dream life, and over time, learned to let much of it go.
In reality, I was overwhelmed, anxious, and struggling. I was still carrying the impact of earlier experiences, felt reactive, exhausted, and did not know how to create lasting change.
There were periods of deep depression, and physically, I was not well. Despite everything I had achieved, I felt disconnected from myself and uncertain about how to move forward. More than anything, I was trying to move forward without understanding what was actually happening.
What I longed for was inner ease, real connection, a sense of belonging, and meaningful contribution.
From Surviving to Living
Over time, I began seeking support. I worked with many professionals and explored different approaches. Some helped in part, but nothing fully addressed the whole of my life or offered a clear, sustainable way forward.
Eventually, I found life coaching. What I discovered was not a quick fix, but a process. A way of understanding myself, my patterns, and how I was relating to my life. Through that process, things began to change.
As I began to understand what was actually happening, something started to shift.
I began to understand what I was feeling, where my mind was going, and how I was responding. I was less reactive and more present in moments that used to overwhelm me. My relationships changed, and life felt more stable.
Life did not become perfect. But I experienced it differently… more grounded, more aware, and more able to meet what was in front of me.
How I Work
My role is to support you in understanding your life and moving forward with clarity and intention.
In our sessions, I bring presence, honesty, and thoughtful guidance. I ask questions that help you see more clearly, understand what is happening, and make decisions that are aligned with who you are and what matters most to you.
We look at your life as a whole, not just one part in isolation. As things become clearer, you begin to respond differently, your relationships shift, and your next step becomes easier to see.
Over time, this leads to a deeper understanding of who you are, a stronger sense of where you belong, and more clarity in how you move forward.
Experience and Training
My work is supported by over 20 years of experience, professional training, and a deep commitment to continued learning.
I am a Certified Life Coach with additional training in hypnotherapy, mind-body health, communication, and well-being practices.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in the understanding that people are shaped by their experiences, environments, and relationships. We move at a pace that supports awareness, safety, and real integration.
Alongside my coaching work, I bring lived experience in business, leadership, and high-performance environments. I understand the demands of pressure, decision-making, and navigating success while maintaining a meaningful life.
When You Are Ready
Change can feel overwhelming, especially when you have been carrying things on your own.
Often, it is not a lack of effort… but a lack of clarity about what is actually happening.
If something in your life is asking for attention or does not quite make sense, it is worth slowing down and understanding it.
When you are ready, I invite you to begin with a simple conversation.
